Cancellation & Refund Policy

ShopQ is a connecting platform (an intermediary). Buyers and sellers/providers transact directly with each other, and money is settled peer-to-peer. ShopQ does not hold funds in escrow and is not a party to the transaction. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work in that model.

Any cancellation of an order, booking, bid, or service is a matter between the buyer and the seller/provider, on the terms they agree at the time of the deal. We encourage both parties to state their cancellation terms up front. ShopQ does not impose or reverse a transaction on the parties' behalf.

Because ShopQ does not receive or hold the money for the underlying goods or services, ShopQ does not process refunds and cannot guarantee any refund. Where a refund is due, it is paid directly by the seller/provider to the buyer through the same peer-to-peer method used for payment.

Separately from the peer-to-peer transaction, ShopQ may charge fees for services it provides (for example connection/unlock fees, verification fees, subscriptions, or promoted listings). If a ShopQ service fee was charged in error or the service could not be delivered, we will refund that ShopQ fee to the original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days of approval. If you cannot resolve a cancellation or refund with the other party, ShopQ offers dispute facilitation — a channel to raise the issue plus ratings/reputation signals. This helps the parties reach a resolution; it is not a guarantee of a monetary outcome. See our Terms of Service.
